One of the perks of being a PIE company is that we’re so closely connected with Wieden+Kennedy, one of the most recognized advertising agencies in the world. W+K is best known for their work with Nike, coining the tagline “Just Do It” and their brilliant Old Spice commercials.
When we were accepted to PIE, we were given the opportunity to work with an amazing studio team to design our logo.
We began by discussing creative attributes we want the Stublisher brand to express and encompass.

we took a look at brands we love…
and once we combined all these things together, we were presented with some initial directions.
We immediately fell in love with the mark below, which was inspired by the hexagonal shape of lens flares seen in concert photography and the hexagonal mechanical apertures of cameras. The shapes knocked out of this symbol come together to abstractly represent the gathering and interaction of people.
We however did want to play with some different S’s in the center…
The final mark:
This logo is everything we were looking for and more. It encompasses all the Stublisher attributes we’re trying to build within the brand, while taking a backseat to what we’re really focused on highlighting - the experience itself. The colors are vibrant, the apertures are playful, yet sharp, and the S is powerful enough to stand alone.
It was an absolute pleasure working with some of the greatest designers in the world and we are so very thankful.
